New memberships also carry a one time $100 enrollment fee, billed separately from dues. We usually suggest starting on quarterly. It gives you room to make sure the chapter is the right fit before committing to a full year, and we'd rather you stay because it's working than because you're locked in.

How does billing work?

Membership bills either quarterly or yearly. Quarterly billing runs on the first of each quarter. New memberships also carry a one time $100 enrollment fee, billed separately when you join.
Why do you recommend starting quarterly?

It gives you a real look at whether the chapter is a fit before committing to a full year. We'd rather you stay because the room is working for you, not because you're locked into a contract.
Can I switch from quarterly to annual later?

Yes. Plenty of members start quarterly and move to annual once they know it's a fit.
What if it turns out membership isn't for me?

We don't lock people into long term contracts. If it's not working, you're not stuck. Just talk to your chapter lead.
Can I visit other chapters as a member?

Yes. Membership includes visitor access to any NXL chapter across North Carolina, not just the one you joined.
